ADHD & autism counselling for women
Neurodivergent-friendly counselling, at your pace.
Whether you're wondering if you might be ADHD or autistic, waiting for an assessment, or making sense of a diagnosis later in life, you deserve support that fits the way your brain works. I'm Angela, a neurodivergent counsellor and neurodiversity coach, and I offer counselling online across the UK and in person in Blackpool.

Does any of this sound familiar?
- You've always felt a bit different, and you're starting to wonder whether you might be ADHD or autistic
- You're on a waiting list for an assessment and don't know what to do in the meantime
- You've recently been diagnosed and feel a mix of relief, grief and “what now?”
- You're exhausted from years of masking and holding everything together
- Burnout, overwhelm or overthinking are getting in the way of everyday life
- You carry a lot of shame, perfectionism or a sense of being “too much” or “not enough”
How counselling can help
Making sense of your story
Looking back at past experiences through a new lens, often with more compassion for the person you were.
Unmasking, gently
Exploring who you are when you're not performing or holding it together, at a pace that feels safe.
Strategies that suit you
A strengths-based approach, with practical coaching tools when they fit, from routines to managing energy and overwhelm.
Acceptance & confidence
Building self-understanding and confidence in your neurodivergent identity, whatever that looks like for you.
Support at whatever stage you're at
Alongside my private practice, I also work as an ADHD Single Point of Access Pathway Navigator in an NHS adult ADHD service.
You're welcome whether you're exploring, self-identifying, waiting, or newly diagnosed. You don't need a formal diagnosis to come to counselling.
Please note that I don't carry out ADHD or autism assessments or diagnose. Counselling is a space for support, understanding and practical strategies alongside whatever route you choose.
Why work with me
Lived experience
I'm a neurodivergent woman and a parent. I understand masking and overwhelm from the inside, so you won't have to explain everything from scratch.

I offer therapeutic counselling and solution-focused coaching. Sessions can be one or the other, or a blend of both, shaped around what you need at the time.
Sessions adapted to you
Movement, fidget toys, breaks, cameras off and sensory adjustments are all welcome. See what sessions are like

Choosing a counsellor can feel overwhelming. A relaxed 15-minute chat is often the best place to start.
