Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Service apply to services provided by Angela Ross, trading as Mindful Wellbeing, including counselling, neurodiversity coaching, mindfulness sessions, yoga sessions, courses, workshops and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events.
By booking any service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Counselling & Neurodiversity Coaching
Counselling and neurodiversity coaching sessions are available in person from my practice in Bispham, Blackpool, and online via Zoom.
Sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a charge of 50% of the session fee.
If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time.
If I need to cancel your appointment due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange your appointment.
Mindfulness & Yoga Sessions
Mindfulness and yoga sessions are available on selected dates throughout the year.
Payment is required at the time of booking.
If you are unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. Refunds are not normally available once a place has been booked. Where possible, I may offer an alternative session or permit your place to be transferred to another person at my discretion.
Participants are responsible for working within their own physical abilities and should inform me of any relevant injuries, medical conditions or accessibility requirements before attending.
Courses, Workshops & CPD
Places on courses, workshops and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events must be booked and paid for in advance.
As places are often limited, cancellations require a minimum of 14 days' notice.
Where at least 14 days' notice is given, you may receive a full refund or transfer your booking to a future event, at my discretion.
Unfortunately, refunds cannot normally be offered for cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice unless your place can be filled.
If I need to cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.
Payments
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Payment terms vary depending on the service booked and will be confirmed when your booking is made.
Invoices and receipts are available on request.
Client Responsibilities
Please provide accurate information when booking any service.
For counselling and coaching, it is important that you let me know about any changes that may affect your wellbeing or safety.
For mindfulness, yoga and other wellbeing activities, you are responsible for participating within your own limits and seeking medical advice where appropriate.
Professional Boundaries
I reserve the right to decline, postpone or discontinue services where:
It would not be safe, ethical or clinically appropriate to continue
Another service would better meet your needs
Professional boundaries are repeatedly not respected
Threatening, abusive or discriminatory behaviour occurs; or
There is a safety concern for you, me, or others
Where appropriate, I will discuss any decision to end counselling with you beforehand.
Confidentiality
Counselling is provided in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Information shared during counselling is treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or where there are safeguarding concerns or a serious risk of harm.

Privacy
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and my Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Services
My services are not intended to replace medical, psychiatric or emergency care.
If you require urgent support or are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111, the emergency services, or the Samaritans on 116 123.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time.
The most recent version will always be available on the Mindful Wellbeing website.
